The Filmmaker looked at the lake through the kitchen window and said, “Jesus, how many photographs can I take of this lake?”
The Poet stopped making his lunch and gazed out the window. “Look at it though,” he said, “it hasn’t done that before.”
The Filmmaker went outside and took more photographs.
Here then, 18 views of Summer Lake. Which do you like the most?

I like the one with the snow skirting the lake…I don’t have one like that. I miss Playa.

And Playa misses you! Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment.

Beautiful photos, as usual. My favorites are 1, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, and 18.
I would love to attempt to paint some of them in acrylics, if that’s alright. Number 18 in particular has the effect that I’m going for in my painting. It looks like it could be a Monet. (Not that I’m in any way comparing my amateurish work to Monet’s -I just love his paintings.)
David Licata
Of course, I’d be honored.
Glad you liked so many! Now get to work on that painting.
Eleni
The lake does look very different. My favorite is 1.

Thanks, Eleni. That was the night before the full moon. It was gorgeous.
