It’s easy to get down about money, especially when your art depends on procuring a trunkload full of the stuff. But today I would like to celebrate money instead. Celebrate because A Life’s Work received a donation. To me, it is quite a large one, because the person who gave labored hard for that money and believed in the film enough to give some of his earnings to this film. To me, that’s huge! And what does he get in return?
My eternal gratitude. An origami crane. A DVD when the film is finished. But more than that he gets to say, “Hey, I helped fund that!” Those are his words, not mine.
It’s easy to make a tax-deductible donation to A Life’s Work, and all amounts are welcome.
And if you can’t spare $5.00 – $50,000.00, there are other ways to support the film, such as subscribing to the blog, liking it on Facebook, inviting a friend to like it on Facebook, sharing or liking a post, leaving a comment here or on FB (I respond to ALL comments), and writing something for the blog or sharing an image you created, as Dane Patterson did.
