I seem to recall reading a quote from Frederic Chopin that addressed why the vast majority of his compositions were for piano. The quote, which I can’t seem to locate and may have dreamed, went something like, “It is a small universe, but I am the ruler of it.”
Now how about a real Chopin quote:
“Simplicity is the final achievement. After one has played a vast quantity of notes and more notes, it is simplicity that emerges as the crowning reward of art.”
I do believe there will be more Chopin for you in the future. Keep your dial glued here.
