A Life’s Work Will Be Screening at IFP’s Spotlight on Documentaries

So there you have it. I can finally tell the world that A Life’s Work will be screening at the Independent Film Project’s “Spotlight on Documentaries” showcase on September 21. IFP is kind of like a film festival, but not really since it’s open to industry only (not to the public, sorry) and doesn’t show completed work.

Here’s IFP’s mission:

For the past 32 years, Independent Film Week (formerly known as the IFP Market) has been a one-of-a-kind event that has brought the international filmmaking community to New York City to celebrate, advocate, and introduce new voices on the independent scene.  Across a broad range of genres, budget ranges and sensibilities, IFP continues to uphold its mission to champion original and provocative storytelling, as well as build community by allowing industry and audiences alike the opportunity to discover and nurture the future of filmmaking.

“Spotlight on Documentaries” features 70 works in progress, and I look forward to watching the films, carousing with my fellow filmmakers, and meeting with the industry folk who have the juice to take A Life’s Work through post production.

Thank you, IFP.

Wish me luck.

      We’ll see.

Right now, I’m very excited about this trip and I can’t wait to be amongst these trees. And it may be the final bit of shooting. Might have to do a tiny thing here or there, but I’m going to say it, this will essentially be the end of production!
